7/25/2023 0 Comments Rodizio rico london united kingdom![]() ![]() Then when I put card in I’m asked if I wanna leave a tip gratuity you took £10 service charge now you want more disgrace and because I clicked no the woman took payment and walked off, disgusting attitude and service and because of that last bit we will NEVER go back/ all the woman had to do is say thank you for coming would love to see you again and we would be back. Once ready to pay I notice we was charged automatically £9.98 service charge ok happy but would like to decide if I wanna leave a tip. Then the meat starts coming which is brought round regular and was very happy with the guys service of meat coming. Finally we go for our food empty lasagne bowl no chips like the other times. After waiting another ten min for the drinks we ordered we had to again go get someone. Where again left for 10 min untill mrs goes and gets someone. We been here 3 times, this time We get there and takes a while to find our booked name then get asked to wait at bar where 4 people serving and just us and 1 other couple waiting to order a drink with no greeting no acknowledgment 5 min later still not served. If soft drinks/coffees were included in the price, it wouldn't have felt so much like we were ripped off. ![]() After all £23.10 for a plate of vegetables/salad, which had they've been bought from a supermarket, would've equated to around £5 in total, even after eating solely from the buffet area, was grossly overpriced. We would've had a far better selection for the money. So for this group of friends, Rodizio Rico was a bad choice. Ordinarily that would be good, however the steak and beef on offer were bloody inside, to the point where it seemed they were cooked to a 'rare' or vaguely 'medium rare' option, which isn't good if you like your meat to 'medium' or more. Various waiters walk around with chicken hearts and wings, lamb chops, steak, beef and fat chipolata sauages, all on skewers which are then carved at your table. We were also disappointed with the meat option, 1 of my friends couldn't eat half the meat available. Had I known what the vegetarian option contained beforehand, we wouldn't have eaten there, especially as I don't like Hallumi. So I was quite suprised when the waitress brought a plate containing 3 cooked slices of capsicum pepper not even equating to a whole one, 3 slices of white onion, a large cooked slice of pineapple and 3 cooked pieces of Hallumi. Perfect for pre-show meals, Rodizio Rico restaurant at London’s O2 Arena in Greenwich is a bright and buzzy Brazilian ‘churrascaria’ restaurant famous for its Brazilian steakhouse menu. It wasn't specified what you would receive when chosing the vegetarian option. The buffet section is a counter in the middle of the room containing salad options, rice and noodles and some onion rings. This is primarily a buffet restaurant with 2 options: Vegetarian at £23.10 and Meat at £29.10, our intial thoughts were it was on the expensive side. This was acceptable, and to be the manager apologised profusely, but I am sure many others end up paying the full £26 for an offering clearly in need of vast improvement.I met with friends on Saturday evening at the O2 and went to Rodizio Rico, none of us had eaten here before. This was politely declined and we agreed in the end that, as the till system was unable to handle a 50% payment my meal would be gratis. The manager felt he should offer to convert my order to a vegetarian buffet. I made what I felt was a sensible offer of paying half for my food. We wrapped up the meal and walked to the till for payment. After a further 5 minutes (now just shy of half an hour in total) I decided enough was enough. I eventually forced a server to bring his meat to us but we then had to refuse it once he admitted it was rarer than rare. Now however we found ourselves completely isolated right in the middle and ignored as time and again (I counted over 25 occasions in a row) the meat was brought to the tables to our left and our right, but never made it's way to us. The meat servers had until that point moved in a set pattern which included us every time. Unfortunately things went downhill as people were seated to our right. ![]() If it had continued in that vein this rating would have been a 4. Indeed even the speed of service with the meat was agreeable to the level that my wife had her fill. The drinks service was perfectly speedy, the initial central counter offering was likewise acceptable. 14 months later and, oh dear! We took a table at 5pm, when the place was about a quarter full so that we could eat before Michael McIntyre. I previously visited here in 2014 with friends and admittedly on that occasion the food and service were both perfectly fine. ![]()
